We hope you can help us bring food and toys to families and seniors in need this holiday season. Here are the details:

 

Join Us on Saturday, December 16 @ 9:00am for Goodfellows Delivery Day

We invite you to join us on December 16 at 9:00am at our 2023 warehouse location to help by making a delivery to a family or senior in need. Our warehouse is once again donated by Stuart Frankel Development, and is located at 37849 Interchange Drive in Farmington Hills. If you would like to help out, just hop in line that morning. We have 230 deliveries to make that day. The Football, Hockey & Swim Teams load 6 cars at a time, while our volunteers from Farmington Hills Police and Fire manage our dispatch and traffic. The line moves very quickly, and we are usually fnished by 10-10:30am. Please be sure to have plenty of room in your car. You will be delivering 2-5 very large boxes (details below). We hope to see you there!

Each Family receives an "A" box (canned & boxed food), a "B" box (canned & dry food), and one or more toy boxes. If there are 3 or more children, a "C" box is added (boxeed, dry and canned foods). We can only load one family per car, and please keep in mind that the 4-5 boxes for a Family will not fit in a compact car, a jam packed trunk or backseat. It's very important to make sure you have room in your car before you come to the warehouse.

Seniors receive 2 large boxes, one with food (mostly protiens), and one with various household supplies. Depending on the size of your vehicle, you may be able to deliver 2 Senior recipients in one trip.

If any of the boxes are too heavy for you to lift, we can loan you an athelete from one of the 3 teams that work with us on Saturday - but you MUST return them when you are finished!
